I have the full traction economy lift so I have the factory arms. I was planing on getting the arms as I got money. I may have to go with another company for the arms now. I just did a search on another forum and they have quite a few threads about bad FT arms/bushings. IMO it is BS that they have not chimed in one time on this post.

they might not be aware of this post, they don't live on the forum. ( I did forward this thread to them).

I dont see why they need to say anything, the solution is here, Grease the bushings and you wont have issues.

There's plenty of very happy owners of the lift on the site as well, I am one of them.

BS? I am on this forum almost all day long! I cant help that this was not in eyeful a day.

I didn't see this thread. It was just sent to me. Without seeing the joint or listening to the noise i cant say for sure. I would recommend that you clean out the joint and re-grease it. Mud will not ruin the joint that fast. It will make it squeak. If this answer does not help you please pm me.

If you do need to clean the joints. Please do not use a pressure washer.

Although I don't have the JK anymore, I did buy a 3.5" FT ultimate lift and I know, without a doubt, my upper rear control arms sqeeked like crazy and nothing except replacing the joints is going to fix it.. I spent so much time regreasing, trying different grease, etc... but never fixed the problem. All the other sqeek problems could be fixed by greasing and tightening things up. I even talked with David @ Northridge in depth about this and he should remember our conversation. Also there are several more threads regarding this. So basically, good luck and don't let people persuade you into thinking you are doing anything wrong which includes the moderators here. I know Pijin was on the othere threads regarding FT sqeeky azzz joints.

I have done the same like you used different kind of greases torqued etc but that rear upper control arm is the major issue.

My guess is you are having the same issue that i was. David at northridge told me to take apart the johnny joint on the frame side and check to make sure there was a hole drilled in the bushing, not to my suprise there was no hole for the grease to get into the johnny joint so the metal spherical bushing was all dried up and starting to rust. I drilled a hole and that fixed it but i dont think this should ever even have been an issue. It looks like to me like full traction dropped the ball on some arms that weren't complete when they were shipped.
