thanks for the props!

no, i run without the surrounds all summer. was it dry when it rained? no, but i didn't care that much.

How do you secure the top? I thought you needed the surrounds to keep the top secured. I would be worried about the top stretching a bunch and bending the metal frames for the sunrider.

just attached at the windshield in the front and the sail panels in the back. i ran all summer like that with no rear windows and the top is fine this winter, no leaks at all.

actually, now that i'm thinking about it i think i did keep the front surrounds on. so when the top was up i had the top secured at the front. but the rear surrounds were off all summer.

The bestop doors are nice but I had problems with mine and many others had problems with the uppers. They should keep water out but don't. My 74 has no problems so why should my 08.
