Default Full Traction 2" BB question...

I'd like some opinions on the two shock options for the 2" Econo Lift Kit.

http://www.quadratec.com/products/16064_200X_PG.htm

I do hit the trails every other week, so I believe it's best not to skip the shocks all together.

$100 diff between the two is the funds I was planning to spend on install. If everyone is in agreement on the more expensive set up, I'll consider going over budget..... (but then it's not really a "econo")

Thanks in advance!!!!

I hear the m-force are the much better option. Everyone suggests them over the others. I am planning on the m-force for mine.

Skyjacker, Rubicon Express along with other companies offer coil spring spacers from $40 (3/4") to $125 (2"). It may be more cost effective to buy your spacer kit from one company and the shocks you prefer from another. Also when you buy separate shocks you can buy em a bit larger so when you ditch the spacer, say for a 3" suspension you won't need to buy shocks again. Just a thought for saving money in the long run.

I got the m-force but have not used the others to compare them.

Default Go with cheapo spacers

I agree with Snowmoose, go with another company like Rubicon Express or Skyjacker for the spacers so you can save some money then use the extra cash to splurge a little on some better shocks. I am a big fan of Full Traction, I think they have some of the best Jeep suspension parts available but in this case the name isnt worth the money. Hope it helped.

Thanks for all the replies.

Now, I'm having second thoughts.
Here's the delima....

My original plan was to lift and run my current 31.5 BFG AT KO's until spring/summer, then get some bigger BFG MT"s. I'd save the AT's as a winter tire. Do you guys think the 2 inch lift would look odd without at least 33's?

or

I'm considering spending my cash on a CAI and a universal magnaflow muffler w/ a bit of custom piping. If I did this, I'd run the BFG's until they need to be replaced, then lift and pick up bigger tires. Only problem (if you want to call it that) is the BFG AT's last a fairly long time.

All opinions appreciated! 3rd Wrangler, but first one that I'm customizing.

Thanks... Andy

thanks. I am going to the farm this weekend to run it in the river and through some trails. Can't wait. In Louisiana we have hills and and revines to traverse. With all the rain lately, it ought to be pretty sloppy. At the end of the trail is a sandy/rocky river bed. I have my potable air compressor and a couple of friends with wenches. should be a fun time. The extra clearance will give me the confidence to attack the most tricky parts of the trail without tearing up a fender. I'll try to get some video going for next week and post in the "pics/video" section on this site. Later.
