Default Full Traction front Track Bar question - (Jam Nut size)

I'm trying to loosen the Jam Nut on the Full Traction front track bar and don't have a wrench big enough to loosen the jam nut which is on there really tight. (According to the install instructions it was supposed to be only hand tightened during installation). Anyway - My axle is off about 1/2" and I want to recenter it by adjusting the track bar. I can get the axle mounted side of the track bar off but can't loosen the jam nut on the track bar to make the necessary adjustment and I don't have the right sized wrench to try to loosen it. Anyone happen to know the wrench size needed for this nut ? Looks to be 27-30MM or just slightly over 1" before I run to the hardware store and buy the wrong size ???

Don't worry about the correct size. Head to Harbor Freight and get a massive adjustable wrench!

Exactly, I have a 360mm Craftsman, it works perfectly, keep it in the tool bag in the back.

Or you could get a cheap pipe wrench. Even a small one will work.

Not ghetto unless it was chromed, now if you drove around with the pipe wrench still attached, that'd be redneck.

According to the install instructions it was supposed to be only hand tightened during installation).
Are you saying it says not to tighten this up in the directions?

No. I'm just simply trying to get it loose at this point.
