I had the same problem, along with others. I just took a sawzall to them and whacked off an inch or so. The problem with just flipping the bolt is when the vehicle starts flexing around you'll want more clearance.

If I shorten the arms, it'll lower the pinion angle, which seems to be perfect at all speeds.

you will need to lengthen your rear upper arms at the same time. your lower arms control the position of your axle while your uppers control the pinion angle.

The lower arms are shortened all the way. That's why this baffles me.

FT actually cut part of my lower control arms off on my TJ long arm lift a few years back. Since the upper rear tri-link was fixed with no adustability, the engineer at FT cut an inch or so off so we could adjust the pinion angle.
May be an option, but work with the Hanson rep and he will help you out!
Good Luck!

Double check and make sure it they are in all the way.

I have enough room on my 3" kit for adjustment. They still have a couple turns left to go all the way in.

Default Here to Help

Sir,
I am here to help. I need more info. Can you please email me pics from right in front of the rear tire, aimed at the arms and axle. I would also like as many pics from every angle of the rear as possible. We will get you squared away. Please send pics to my email.

I was in the field all last week and have been busy planning for my wedding, so I finally got to work on the JK.... I changed both bolts (entering from front to rear) on the rear trackbar (frame end) and the trackbar bracket bolt, and now they don't collide with the bumpstop.

Of course, now I installed the swaybar end links, and the upper bolt chews up the inside of my tire when the tire is stuffed. I have the ORE Rock Star skids and the end link is mounted on the outside of the swaybar and skid.
