I almost bought aftermarket bumpers and then saw the thread on chopping the stock front and decided to try that first. I don't plan on adding a winch or lights to mine, but have seen threads on this forum where they do that to the stock bumper. I just used the stock ends and fastened them in with self threading screws. One of the cushions on mine had been damaged so I used some of the left over bumper material to reinforce the cushions and I really like the way it turned out. It cost me a couple of bucks for the screws.
