G.E.A.R. Overhead console
Anyone out there installed the Smittybilt G.E.A.R. overhead console? I have been waiting for a reply from R/R on the one they previewed at SEMA, but so far no word from them. I was wondering how this one from GEAR installed, and if it was solid and did not droop.

I have it installed. I posted a thread if you do a search in the modified forum. If you have any other questions let me know. It is easy to install you have to remove the center loop and it uses 2 stainless steel clamps around the sound bar. It is made of 3/16" steel you could stand on it and not sag. the fabric installs with velcro around the steel frame. takes about 20 min to install.
