Default G2 axle any thoughts

Wrecked the Jeep a little over a week ago. Hit a car with the left front tire. Needs a complete front axle assembly. Once I know what the insurance will pay I am planning to use the money to upgrade the front axle and am leaning towards the G2 Dana 44 with 4.56 and true track which js what I have in the rear and had in the old Dana 30. Any thoughts on the G2 Dana 44 front would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

The front Rubi D44 is a metric housing which means there are limited options for carriers. What you need is a D44 SAE housing. Check with G2, the last time I checked on the Core44 SAE housing they would not be available until sometime this spring. The Core44 metric is available.

I had a dana 30 not a rubicon 44. Does it matter if the G2 is metric or SAE?

have you looked into the new Rock Jock 44 out by Currey? I am leaning that direction.
