Gauge pod?
so were there these guages plug and play? or do you wire them up to anything
don't know a thing about guages whatsoever, but have read that they are good to have in spme cases. any info on this exact setup would be greatly appreciated
There are plenty of one-function gauges that will require installing a sensor and giving it 5 or 12 volts to send the signal to the actual gauge.
Then there are the multifunction gauges. The one I have plugs right into the OBD2 port and reads a couple dozen or more parameters. That's about as plug and play as you can get. To augment it I have added oil temp and pressure sensors (those I had to wire for power to send the signal into the gauge).
Do a search for Aeroforce interceptor. Its pricey but can be set up to literally read out like 30 parameters. Most folks that have them started out interested in how hot the JK auto tranny gets.
