Default 5.13 gear noise

I just had 5.13's installed on my 2door Rubi and have a whining noise when decelerating. I can hear it at all speeds but mostly at 65 mph. Acceleration is fine. Have about 200 miles on them.
Had the shop check it out, they said everything is set up right. Shop said they will contact Superior Gear. I talked to Superior Gear and they claim they should not make noise. Anybody else have this problem?

My personal experience is that Superior gears are often noisy. My daily driver (F250) has Superior gear and they have whined since they were installed some 30k miles ago. I have been told be several driveline shops that its a hit or miss thing.

Post Gear noise

I have 5.13's and my Rubi does not have any gear noise. I would remove the fill plugs and make sure the differentials are serviced to the proper levels (bottom of the fill plug). If the shop is filling them to the TJ specs the rear will be .6 quarts low.

ty for the tip, I know that the level in the rear diff is not to the bottom of the plug, its about 1/2 inch down. I checked it on the trail because a rock bent the bottom of the cover back, but it did not leak. But I had the gear noise since the gears were installed.
I will have to fill it up some and check for noise.......Thanks
