Default gear swap parts needed

I have been looking at Northride 4x4 site and I am not sure which kit I would need. Do I get the kit with the install parts or the overhaul parts? I have a 2008 unlimited automatic with 45000 miles.

You should get the over haul kit. Call north ridge 4x4 or any place they will tell you what you need and more importantly WHY you will need it, shims ect....

Yep, overhaul kit.

And if you have 3.21's, you'll want a new carrier for that front D30.

Exactly... Just call David @ Northridge, he's got a loaded carried for $100.

I have 3:73 already so I dont believe I need a carrier. Just wondering why I would need an overhaul kit or not.

Because you have 45,000 miles on those axles. New bearings and stuff is a good thing...

The blurb from G2:

Install Kit
If you are re-gearing a new or very low mileage vehicle, you may consider using our G2 Installation kits.

Overhaul Kit
They are ideal for high mileage vehicles, and eliminate the risk of using damaged bearings that may occur during the removal/transfer process.
