Default Gearing Chart for the 3.6 2012 Motor?

Is anyone working on a Gear Ratio chart for the 3.6? I will be getting a 2012 Unlimited this month and am trying to have all my after market stuff at the house when I get it speed up my Modify time. Were getting an Auto and will be putting the jeep on 35's. I am just trying to decide on the gears right now. 4.10's or 4.56's. I have searched a couple of sites and I'm not really seeing an answers for the 2012's.

thanks

Biggs

Can you regear the 2012 yet? Last I heard regearing put the rig into limp mode. I know they are working on updating the programmers, but had not heard that one has come out yet to fix this for the 12s.

4.56 IMO. It allows more performance and still highway-able. Squeeze every bit you can if your spending that kind of money in your axles. :-)

I'm thinking 4:88's or 5:13's with my 37's.

I'm thinking the same for my manual trans.. would love to hear from someone who has tried the 37's and 4.88's on a '12 manual!

I'm pretty sure people were claiming that with the new 5spd auto and 410 gearing that it wasn't really necessary to regear for 35s....?

While off original topic, I can say that my 2012 unlimited with 4.10s, auto, and 315 Falken Wildpeaks has no problems with on road performance. The computer is still in break-in mode too. It is very street drivable. I just need to get the great pumpkin out in the dirt/mud/rocks now!

How Hilly is it where you live? It not to big a deal in the Texas Hill Country but I spend most of my summer up in the Rockies climbing.

I am totally on the fence with this myself. The VVT has a lot more power and whereas you wouldn't dare go less than 5.13 on a 3.8L, I think a 4.88 would be very driveable on 37s with the VVt. Until my regearing next week, I'm running 37s on 3.73 and the damn thing gets up and goes.

Off topic but an interesting observation, the 2012 auto is MUCH faster than the 2012 Manual. I (auto) raced a 2012 manual with 3.73 on 35s, I was running 37s with 3.73 and beat him by three car lengths. I was more undergeared and that should not have happened.

Yes the dude can drive, I actually got the same impression when I drove the dealers manual Sport outfitted with 35s. You have to rap it to 4000 rpm on the manual before it has any balls. The Auto just pulls.
