Ok, right now on 265 on 3.21 I am running 2100 rpm on flat and minor up hills. It does not downshift at all. SO, 4.10 on 35's would be close to the same. FINE BY ME. plus our roads are mainly 100kph or 60 mph anyways.

I am installing 285s today, so I will see what the Jeep drives like after I get it tuned.

New shoes.

I just got my new tires. went 285s, and the gearing is more than fine. I do not notice any difference. Tuned to 285s. I am happy. I will be putting in tru tracs front and rear however, so I may move to 4.10 then NOT SURE though.

285 what? 285/70/17? then yeah you probably don't need to go deeper since those are just under 33".

yes 285/70/17. im pleased. much better than my 11 with 285s and 3.73 gears.
