Default Gears or Ripp Headers?

I have 4 door auto rubi on 35's with stock 4.10's. I have no performance parts other than drop in KN and Superchips 92 performance tune.

i have $2500 burning a hole in my pocket so what should i do?

1) Get 5.38's installed? I have 45K on jeep should i do overhual while doing gears?

or do i

2) Get Ripp headers, exhaust and diablo sport tuner!

I am thinking the smart thing would be to get the gears installed first and see how she runs with the help of the superchips.
I am thinking the cool thing would be to instal the headers!
Any advantages of doing one or the other first?
Get more life out of my stock gears before i swap them, or are the stock gears putting more wear on my drivetrain?

Thx guys!

Go gears. That would be about half of the money you have to spend.

Gears. It may be enough for you in which case you have saved yourself some money. If it isn't you can always go on to plan 2 (in which case you would still want the gears.) I think Ripp even recommends getting gears, and that is with the installation of the Ripp supercharger.

Get the gears, then get the RIPP SC, then get the RIPP Headers....

I am working on the last piece myself sometime early next year...

I know you are only looking at the headers/exhaust/tuner and not the s/c, but here is a quote from Ripp in a "get gears now or save for a s/c" thread. may help with the decision...

A Hypertech Speedo calibrator is absolutely imperative and required.

The problem is not the power (per-say) its the final drive ratio, its very long and a taller gearing makes the biggest difference…. However and no matter which way you cut it – you only have 125 rear wheel HP WITH OR WITHOUT GEAR’s so with gears you produce 220-240 rear wheel HP and 230lbs/ft or torque- say what you want - that’s more - and more allows you to further enjoy your JK .
