Default Getting Check Engine Light without Code after Evap Can Relocation

Hi,

About a month ago, I relocated my Evap Canister using the Woods kit. This morning I got a check engine light but no codes. I'm driving a 2010 Unlimited that is otherwise stock.

About a week after the relocation I checked my codes and noticed that I had P0455 Evap Purge System Large Leak so I cleaned up the o-ring and cleared the code with my Flashpaq. There was no check engine light at that time. A week after that I got P0456 Evap Purge System Small Leak so I cleaned up the o-ring again and cleared the code with my Flashpaq. Now I'm getting a check engine light and no codes.

I never put silicone lube on the o-ring as recommended by the instructions, so I'm thinking about trying that, but I'm concerned about the absence of a code.

Does anybody know a mod-friendly dealership in San Diego, CA that is likely to overlook the relocation of the evap can if I take it in? I don't mind paying if I've voided the warranty, but I'd like to avoid it if I can.

Thanks for any help!

i would silicon the o-ring and double check your hose clamps. just because your check engine light is on without any code doesn't mean that one will be generated soon enough. if you can avoid going to the dealership, that is your best bet as they can flag your jeep as being modified and prevent you from getting any warranty service anywhere. also, if you do take your jeep into the dealership, make sure to return your computer back to stock. if you don't, you could be screwed on your flashpaq.

of all the dealerships in the san diego county area, i have found bob baker in carlsbad to be somewhat friendly towards modified jeeps. i hear that jack powel in san marcos isn't too bad either but i have no experience with them.
