Was that you I talked to on the phone yesterday? Thanks ...

Rancho adds no brackets to the axle ... only the frame.

Yep. I bet there are hundreds of people running around with bent sector shafts.

How many times have you seen someone get off the trail and their steering be off while everything looks good?

I have had that to mine just from doing a parade. I drive up on my co-workers tire about 20+ times along the route. Generally I have to get a alignment done and my stock tie rod is loose on both ends.

A drop pitman could lead to a bad sector shaft or damage the stock steering box. If you have a drop pitman, I would get the brace kit from EVO for it.

I'd get the kit even if you had the stock pitman arm. They were out of stock when I ordered mine, so it came 2 months too late. But hey I did get to upgrade more parts.

It's bent, might be twisted as well. Only on 35's

What did it steer like with it bent? I was just about to swap pitmans and toss my TB drop bracket but now i have steering issues and scared to change much till I figure it out.
If I drive straight steering wheel is centered, I turn left and wheel is off to the left once I straighten out. I turn right and straighten out its centered again. I can feel it when the centering of the wheel changes. Hell, if its off to the left I can jerk it right and it will recenter I checked everything but the steering box and its all good.
My jeep has 5700 miles on it and has been off road twice and nothing too crazy. The first time off road I noticed after getting back on pavement that the steering wheel was off. I recentered it and it was fine for a few months. I off road again and it does the same thing. Only, this time I recenter wheel and then when I turn it shifts and sets off the ESP crap. Dreading the dealer giving me crap for the mods but not sure how to troubleshoot this one.

Other than the steering being off, it drove fine. It would not turn all the way to the left though.

Have you had someone watch it while you turn the wheel?

No play in the joints at all?

Try taking your tie rod all the way off and inspect. If all is good but it back on.
