GF performance chip GFORCE
Has anyone heard of this? Stumbled upon it this morn. They promise a lot for $69.00. Appears to be too good to be true...

60 HP Gains? 4-7 MPG Increase? Lower emissions 25-40%? To be fair, the GFChips Website says that no matter what you select. There are no specific promises for the 3.8. I looked up the 1060 VW bug and it gave the same figures. The bug didn't even come close to 60 HP in 1960.
A couple of quotes come to mind.
"If it is too good to be true, it probably is"
and
"A fool and his money are soon parted"
What fool on this forum is first to test this?

I think you should buy one and review it for us!!
Or -
Run to your local electronics store and buy a resister and a short piece of wire, and save yourself $66. Do a little looking around for reviews on this crap, and you will see that that is all they are - though they will have a pretty plastic cover over the resister. They trick your computer into thinking the air coming in is cooler than it actually is, which changes the fuel curves, and you get more fuel into the cylinder. But without more air going in also, you will likely have less power, not more, and will end up with trouble codes from the computer trying to figure out what the hell is going on.
But hey, it's only 69.00...
