Default Glasspack on a JK

Has anyone installed a glasspack (cherry bomb) as a replacement for the stock muffler? If so, how does it perform, sound, look? Any pictures would be appreciated.

I installed a Moroso Spiral Flow. Not a glasspack, but a straight through design with little chevrons "catching" the unwanted noises. It sounds great on a Tahoe, it sounds like a ricer on the JK. Looking to get a flowmaster super 44 now.

I did not use the cherry bomb brand !! BUT ....I did use the Dynomax Ultraflow race bullet which infact is a glass pack muffler !!

I cannot post pics now cause it is raining ( pouring ) outside !! I did tuck it up about an inch away from the floor board in the stock location ( to protect it from ROCKS !!)

It gave my JK the aggressive GROWL with out being riceburner- ish !! And does not have the annoying drone of a FLOW MASTER !!

I like it will try to come back tomorrow and post pics for you ...... SORRY !! I am not GEEKY enough to give you a sound clip of it too !!

The general rule for glasspacks is the longer it is, the deeper and quieter it is. The shorter it is, the louder and ricier it sounds. The body diameter usually doesn't affect the sound that much.

I did not use a glass pack, instead I went with the Banks CatBack.
I installed it where the evap. canistor was (I moved it with Woods Kit) I really don't like the sound, I should have done more research. I only went with Banks because I have it in my Diesel Ford. The muffler relocation is way better though, I moved the heat shield too.

IMO glass packs sound bad on everything. My JK is staying quiet cause I got nothing to brag about.

I am VERY interested in this system. Do you have any pics, either installed on yours or a link to a pic on the Banks site? I looked on the Banks site and couldn't find it. If anyone can make a catback that can add power, it's Gale Banks.
