I figured more shock/spring travel, the more flex up and down. What's the bat way to increase flex? Long arm kits?

Decided on 35s, now I just have to blow my whole savings. Oh well.

Not THAT much more. On the bright side when I make e6, that's a hell of a pay jump.

The very dark green (looks black) four door Rubi in this video is a 2012 running the 2.5" TF lift and 33s tires. He does quite well on a very tough route (Blanca Peak Road) ...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yFjr3hSzEu4 Here is a comparison of his Jeep to mine on a trip to Toroweap a year earlier than above. Same lifts, 33" tires on his, 35" tires on mine ...

Various lift kits just let you wear bigger tires, flex comes from a combination of available wheel clearance, shock travel length, and bumpstop length.

An example is a 3.5" lift with stock fenders on 37s will take 4" of bump stop (obviously depends on factors but basing this on the MC game changer kit) at least, therefore you actually lose articulation by .5" in up travel

Same setup with flat fenders will use less bumpstop making a gain in articulation, with no change in the actual lift or control arms or any of the other mythical flex parts. Course this is assuming your shocks allow for that travel
