Default Going bigger...

I have the Rubicon Express BB and 35's and I am thinking about going bigger! The BB has caused no driveability issues which is why I initially went with 2". Now for the infamous question of what 3" kit and how much $ do I have to spend to insure no driveability issues. By the way anyone interested in a RE BB w/ monotubes check the for sale section in a couple days!

Im doing the same thing upgrading to a 3inch. I ordered the FT economy kit without shocks since ill just use the ones that came with my BB. I also ordered the FT rear trackbar. I already have the front trackbar. I would at the very least make sure you have new trackbars and not just the brackets. If you reuse your shocks and do what im doing with front and rear track bars it should run you around $800. Now with that said, since you don't already have the front track bar I would recommend buying a kit like the FT premium which I believe comes with both trackbars as well as some control arms. That kit is around $1000 without shocks. Youll eventually want adjustable upper and lower control arms to get the stock ride quality but like I said if your on a budget I recommend going with adjustable trackbars or not going bigger. I said full traction cause thats what im doing but there are plenty of other lifts that are just a nice if not nicer. FT seems to be a good compromise between price and quality for me.

That is kinda what I was thinking. I was curious as to what other kits were comparable to the FT premium, both price and completeness (if that is a word?)

The FT premium only has the rear trackbar bracket. Is that gonna be an issue for driveability?

BeerMonkey, not a problem. I'll be traveling to Pittsburgh soon. Maybe we can get around the shipping costs.

Why would the FT premium kit have only upper arms? Are the lower fixed arms recommended?
