Default Going from Stock to budget lift Help question?

Hi Fellow Jeepers,
I have a question(s) for you and would appreciate your advice and or input:

I have a 07 Sahara 2Dr and am looking to add a lift kit to it. Im not a big off roader but I like to go out and do some trails. Its a daily driver and Im not looking for a huge lift. I was looking at the teraflex 2.5 bb lift. Also I was not sure if i should be looking at just spacer kits or look at the kits with shocks and springs. I wont be doing extreme offrading but I would like to give myself the option of doing some rougher terrains and longer trails.

Also I would like to change my tires from the stock 18 Bridgstone Duellers, do you think I should look at smaller rims ( 17/16s). I want to also get a little more of an agressive tire as well. personally I like the Wrangler Kevlars!

Of course it all comes done to budget so I would like to find a comprimise of cost saving but good quality.

Thanks in advance for all your offered advice.
Regards,
M.

Budget-wise, seems like the consensus is the TF 2.5 BB is the way to go.
You can use pretty much any wheel you want, but know that the price of the tires are directly related to the size of the wheel, 18's being more expensive than 17's and so on.

For the price the teraflex BB is hard to beat, but if were you I would spend a little more and go with their 2.5 inch coil lift. looks great with 33's or 35's. In the future you may adda winch or bumper and when you do your stock springs will sag like an old womens titties. However with the TF coils will not sag nearly as much if any.

I have the TF2.5" BB with shocks and I'm very satisfied with it. I added the TF 2" springs up front for the aftermarket bumper and winch and to level out the rake.

I like the comfort and capabilities of my 2.5BB

I like the look of 16R with 33s IMO

Try pricing them out and see the cost difference.

Thanks everyone,
I think for now Im going to go with the Tera Flex BB, with Shocks. I would like the Coils but they add just a bit too much for my budget. I would like to get a bumper but that has to be in the future sometime. Also maybe some can clarify for me, If I choose to run the stock wheels for now, will i have to get some 1.5" wheel spacers?? I think I have to but your confirmation would be appreciated.

Thanks

You will need the spacers if you choose to run a tire that is 11.5-12.5" wide.

just my 2 cents.I know you said 2.5 teraflex bb lift. I was going the same route. Then I started to look at everything included. you may want to go with the teraflex 3 inch kit w/shocks and disconnects. if you ever do take it out wheeling you won't be disappointed. if you do go 2.5 I definately would do the springs and shocks, if money is available. I have seen too many guys offroading wish they had done the coils and shocks. good luck

I'm riding on 285/75 BFG M/T KM2's on 16" Eagle Alloy rims. The lift is a Rubicon Express 2.0 coil spacer lift with RE monotube shocks. The sway bar disconnects are JKS. I'm very happy with the set up.....
