I didnt but would probably be easier if you did. You can use a hairdryer also

So are you saying just becarefull not to hold it one spot too long or DONT use any heat at all????

I'm not going to tell anyone "NOT" to use a heat gun. But I am familiar with heat guns. And it's easy to got to far. I would "recommend" that you try the removal without the gun first.

Lol dude, just scratch at the corner with your fingernails and yank slowly after you get a corner. Zippi fluid will handle any leftover gunk and you're all set. Won't even have time for a beer while doing this!
