I have the Rough Country 2.5" lift with the RC 2.2 shocks. I like it a lot--the ride quality is virtually the same as stock. The one annoying problem with this lift (as with all BBs) is that the steering will become "flighty". The corrective action is supposed to be more caster, which you can get after replacing the control arms. I have new front, lower control arms in the garage waiting for me to find the time to install them. So, as you consider price and how much ride comfort and articulation you want, consider how important the steering quality is to you. For me, that is a lot more important than what new springs would have given to me. Here are a few pic's:

I like your Jeep with that lift kit. I'm looking around for a 2.5 for mine. I've also liked what I've seen on the Rough Country 2.5. I've seen it for $139.99 from 4x4 stores on Ebay, but I also would like to get some longer, after-market (Skyjacker) shocks. Some guys also said I'd be best to get a kit with new (longer/tougher) coils?!?

I'm getting 35" MT'R's, but not til after Income tax, so I've got time to look around, compare kits/prices etc and ask what the guys like/don't like on the kits they have??

My wife got the 2" spacer/pucks on her 2004 2 DR Wrangler Unlimited, and that's all. She has 31" BFG's, and she has a very good, smooth ride, so I'm looking around and doing my homework.
