Default Is this a good deal?

So I've been looking to get a new bumper/with tire carrier. My friend will trade me his xrc bumper semi new (never been offroad) with tire carrier, jack and spare 35" tire, for my stock bumper and $600.. What do u think?
Here are some picks

The bumper new is only $700. Not that great a deal.

But that doesn't come with a jack and spare 35". Sounds like a good deal to me of I am reading this right.

Doesn't sound like too bad of a deal once you figure in the tire and Jack with it? You can always offer him $500?

It may not be a steal but new ones don't come with a hi lift jack and a 35" tire either, so it may be an alright deal. Just depends on if the tire is worn out and the jack is too rusty to work or not.

The bumper and tire carrier are $899 new plus tax and shipping. $600 is not real bad but if he wants a stock bumper with it, why is he getting rid of it? I have the same bumper. Its pretty decent.

Offer the low ball $400 and see what they do.

He said he wants something different.. I wouldn't feel comfortable low balling him.. I'll offer him 500 and we'll prob meet in the middle @550..

This is a good deal... since he is your friend and is going to help you put it on just pay him the $600... If you knew me you would think I am crazy because I am a hardcore negotiator and I am always looking to get something for nothing... just ask my vendors!! Just remember he is your friend and this is a good deal!! He is not trying to rip you off... he is actually hooking you up!

GO FOR IT!!
