Good Idea? Bad Idea?
So I have a bit of a dumb question but I figure better safe than sorry. So here's the deal, I just regeared last friday from 4.10's to 5.38's, so I haven't gotten to my 500 mile break in point obviously. Before my regear I posted an ad on CL to see if anyone would trade their 37's for my 35's (total crapshoot), and tonight I got a response from a guy possibly willing to trade his 37x13.5r17's Toyo MT's for my 35x12.5r17's, same tread life, about 70%, so I think its a sweet deal. I know that the Toyo's happen to be a heavier tire, would it be wise to switch out my lighter 35's for the heavier 37's at such a early point after a regear or would that be asking for problems?
Any input is appreciated. Thanks

I agree driving easy and for shorter durations I believe will be easier on new gears regardless of weight then driving like a raped ape. PS this is just a figure of speech I by no means condone non-consensual sex between primates.

Thanks for the post and the new terminology, haha.
