goodyear mtr / kevlar
i have about 4k miles on mine. you will not be sorry for the price. and mine are 35's. and the road noise is just a very light hum. it's not that bad at all. i run mine at 28 lbs. on the road and 12 to 10lbs. on the dirt and rocks. went rock crawling this weekend and not rock rash from the rocks. air them down and forget about them till you jit the pavement.
i just ordered a set of these tires and have a few questions
i know that they are side specific
are they directional as well and how is the spare rotated in???
because if they are directional and side specific the spare would only be good for one side????
any help with my questions would be greatly appriciated

They just need to be mounted with the correct side on the outside of the wheel, then you put them on whatever position of the vehicle you want them on. That doesn't mean directional.
there's a thread with actual data and proof of this somewhere, i'm searching for it.
here is one thread from Discount Tire Direct about it--see post #44

ummmmmmm I dont think that is correct. The tires are not directional. They are stamped on the tire which is to the inside of the rim and which is out. As long as they are mounted right on the rim it doesnt matter where they are mounted on the Jeep.
mine are all mounted the same. so one side is the oposite of the other. makes for easy tire roation. and these tires are not directional. i'll post a pic of mine. drive side goes one way. passenger side goes another...
snow, rain, mud. have not hit any ice yet that i'm aware of. i went for a trip up the mountains a few weeks back and went through the snow. no problems. mud is a cake walk for these. and rain is like driveing on any other tire, very controlled so far in all conditions...
have close to 4,000 miles on mine. Great on rocks, above average in mud. WAY better than the stock Rubi's on pavement, snow, ice, rain, etc. Still a mud tire, so not great in the wet stuff, but I would say a big improvement over the stock MT tires. Also, I found them to actually be quieter than the BFG's.
