My JK is comeing along nicelly 4 inch lift with 31 inch tires, front and rear bumper and winch. My question what next? Any sugestions on what "Essentials" I should get. Locking differentials, bigger tires, gears, ect. This is my dailly driver and my toy. So please any ideas would be great.

Depends what type of 4wheeling you plan on doing. With 4" of lift you could put bigger tires on, regear and go lockers. Rock sliders, roof rack the list is endless.

With 4" of lift I'd say go bigger tires and regear because the 31's are probably looking slightly small.

I would suggest 33" tires, sleeve and gusset front axle, and a TrueTrac LSD lockers.

But that's just the money saving route for insurance.

I'd suggest new drive shafts and adjustable control arms.. If you like the way the smaller tires look then I'd leave it, but 35-37's will look much better....

Sorry to everyone but I just talked to a guy I work with and he says the number on the side of the tires(315/70/R17) actually translates to a 35" I thought it was a 31. If any one knows for sure please say.
and thanks for the advise

Go to the mfg's website and look at the specs. Or do a web search for 'metric tire conversion' or calculator and plug in the numbers. But yes, they are 35's. And if you take a tape measure to them, you will find that the actual height is somewhere in the 33.5 - 34.5" range.

For what to get next? Gussets wouldn't be a bad choice, but you should actually just put the credit card back in your pocket and drive a few trails. If you need more traction, look into limiteds/lockers. if you are scraping the shit out of your undercarriage, look at armor. If you don't have any recovery gear besides the winch, wouldn't be a bad choice. Are your trail buddies using cb's? Do you drive through a lot of mud and water? Maybe a snorkel. Are you recalibrated for the tires? If not, look at a programmer/tuner. Are you geared for the tires? New gears. See where this is going?

Base the purchases on what YOU need.

Thanks Best advise yet. Dont have a lot of people to run with ZERO so far
Most of the trails I have hit so far are easy to low moderate at best. Have tow chain a choke cable as far as recovery gear. not planing on a lot of water runs (just got a airaid intake and throttle body spacer)
Thanks for the help
