Default TF Trackbar bracket hitting TF Spring

Help! My axle-mounted Teraflex trackbar relocation bracket is hitting my Teraflex spring. Both came with the 4" TF Flex arm lift so they are supposed to work together. Anyone else run into this issue? Any advice? I thought about routing the bolt the other way but I do not think that will be enough. Can the rear springs be rotated or do they have a specific perch like the fronts?

you can reverse the bolt and that will help or, you can install a set of JKS adjustable perches and that'll do the trick too.

Thanks Eddie! I will reverse the bolt tomorrow. Do you know if I can also rotate or spin the rear spring while I am at it? It looks like if the coil were rotated about 90 degrees it would not hit at all.

sure, unlike the front coils, the rears are not index. however, i suspect that somewhere in the compressed/extended range, the coil would still hit.

I ran into this same issue today, except I can't figure out a way to insert it from the other direction without taking the spring out, and not really feeling like doing all of that work again right now

Yeah rotate that bolt, and spend the $20 for a set of rock krawer spring wedges. Mine still rubbed with the bolt rotated. The wedges are poly material and just sits under the spring. Super easy to install. I also rotated the springs like you mentioned and mine are almost verticle now, no bow.

Wow...seems to me if these parts were engineered to work together this shouldn't be happening

Its all because of the suspension design. Once you lift a JK the axle is going to rotate some due to the increase in height, and the adjustmnet of the rear control arms for pinion angle. Some JKs have the issue of the rear springs bowing, some don't. I fixed mine with a simple $20 part and 45 of my time. While they could include a part such as the spring wedges, not everyone will need them.

Do you know How thick the wedges are? With the new 37's there is not too much room between the roof and the garage door.

I went ahead and switched the bolt around on mine and threaded it through the middle hole of the relo bracket. From side to side it is only off center between a 1/16 and 1/8 of an inch which should be fine, it was still a little off in the top hole. I plan on ordering a rear adj. trackbar and all should be fine, I need one for my JK lean anyways. (I could have put it through the top hole but I didn't feel like doing a bunch of work dropping the rear axle again when the difference will be minimal, maybe someday).
