don't want to get the thread off-track but wanted to clarify - "I've learned enough lessons with what is written to what is said when trying to go back and recover/ make a claim on what was said...."

what i mean is a warranty is only as good as the wording on the paper. I've bought many things including extra warranty protection over the years based on how the warranty was verbally communicated but when I needed to claim on the warranty, what was verbally said was not valid - only what was written on the warranty paper (binding contract).
