Exclamation Got it yesterday! Starting mods! :-)

Woohoo! 5 months to the day, but finally got my JK yesterday afternoon! Woohoo! :-)

First things that went in; clutch lock (sold as a brake lock), Husky floor mats, Raingler dog net, door sill protectors. My workshop is full of stuff, but I can't do everything at once (and it was raining last night)!

BTW, I don't know how people have been putting on the Rangler partition net, but I had to fab some tie-offs for the sides. Gonna have to take pics and do a write-up of that one...

Now I just gotta get that soft-top out of there so the dog can get in! Anyone know if it's possible to pry it out without lifting the hard-top?

Oh, and the best thing, no "Trail Rated" badge! Yeah, isn't that great! That's the only badge I really hated. I might leave the rest of the stickers since the wife appears to like 'em. :-)

LateR!

BTW- If you happen to find that you bought too many accessories, feel free to send them south.

Default Clutch / Brake Lock

BTW, here's the clutch lock (sold as a Brake Lock). We're using it on the clutch for 2 reasons; you can't start the Jeep without pressing-in the clutch pedal, and a thief could always use the hand-brake instead of the brake pedal.

I like the clutch lock because I am always afraid the idiots here would figure out a way to knock it out of transmission and take the hand brake off. Then, it would roll into other cars/small children/whoever wants to sue me that day and I would be out a Jeep and some money.

Congrats on the new Jeep.

I was told 5 months and recieved it in 4.5!! Of course like yourself, I had a pile of parts to install as soon as it got home. I had to remove the hard top to get to the soft top. You might be able to do it without, I was worried I would damage it.

In fact I was told by the dealership today that I could sell mine today for $10,000 over sticker because there are having a terrible time getting 2 door rubicons. I'm not parting, but something to think about

***Shhh don't say that... the car theives might catch on!***

It's frustrating tho... I had a club installed on my old car (so stealing the car was out of the question) there was nothing in plain view to be stolen and for some reason someone decided to break into it. Messed up my door lock and didn't even steal anything cause there was nothing to steal!!!
