Thumbs down Grab handle Quality problems

Hello. Well, I just noticed a major issue with my roll bar grab handles. The stitching at the stress points of my handles is very substandard. The company skimped on materials and craftmanship, so now the stitching is coming off. I have had them for about 2 months, and the driver side handle has more than half of the stitching gone. There has been no hard use on the handle, just normal use to help getting into the jeep occasionally. Just a warning for everyone looking at getting some of these. Look at the stitching and material before you buy some. It should have an "X" or square style stitching to reinforce the two main stress points. I just don't want anyone else to waste their hard earned money on a defective product (especially one that they may depend on for safety).

Rugged Ridge. I emailed the company today. Hopefully, they do the right thing and improve their product.

Everything RR sucks, IMO.

I got Master Craft grab handles for the front and like them so much I got a second pair for the back. They are well built IMHO. You can check them out at Northridge 4x4 if you are interested.

I just got my Mopar grab handles with clothes hanger and for $35... you only get ONE grab handle. Guess I assumed you'd get a pair for that price Don't get fooled like I did!
