To anybody who has added grab handles to their Jeep. Do they block your view when looking to the left? It would seem that they would obstruct your view if you were about 6'2" or taller. I would like to add them, but don't want something hanging right in my sight plane.

Took mine off the driver side and put it in the wife's TJ for granny to grab on. It annoyed me hangin on the driver's side, I never used it anyway.

 

My fronts are now bolted to the upper corners of the windshield frames.

Yes, the strap-on will block your vision and annoy the crap out of you if attached to the bar beside your head. I'm 6'3" tall.

Probably but I don't have or need one on the driver's door. I only have them in the back and passenger side. You have the steering wheel to hold on to.

 

If you tall they might bother you and block you vision. I am 5'11" and they don't bother me. The Mrs. and the kids like having the grab handles so I have them x4.

 

If they are the stap on just slide them up to the inside of the bar. Mine will slip up out of sight.
