Is anyone in CA running a Bullydog GT for Jeeps, in California. I know, I know, they are not for sale for vehicles used on pollution controlled vehicles. But that never stopped the millions of guys putting cams, roller rockers and such on their hot rods. I was thinking of doing this, and was wondering of the drawbacks. The CARB unit doesn't have the cool features that I want. Thanks

 

Am I just being stupid, or is this do able. Or is nobody willing to cop to it.

It's only illegal if you get caught. Doubt any cop will notice it or know what it is, just remove it before you go for a smog check. I used a tuner on my WRX with no issues for years.

 

That was my thought. Also put in the stock tune before smog, or dealer visits for warranty, as well. Thanks
