Has anyone actually tried 35-inch tires on a 3" lift? Have you actually verified that you get full articulation offroad and full steering with no rubbing?

I've decided I want to go with 35's and don't want to lift more than necessary.

almost every lift company has 3" lift with 35". Look around on the forum, lots of threads about this.

My lift should be here shortly. I'll be running the same set up.. I have no doubts it'll work.

I'm hoping for comments from someone who's actually done it. Anyone?

Well, I can tell you that Off Road Evolution is running a 4" lift with 37's and hasn't had any problems. That's just 1" of lift with a 2" taller tire. That should be a good indicator of what will work.

I'm pretty sure there are other guys on here that are running what you are looking for too. Hopefully they'll chime in soon.

We have installed a FT 3" kit with 35" tires and it looked great and ran great.

Thanks

Well, you would certainly know....

Did you have facilities to test maximum articulation and verify no rubbing? Did you have to do anything else like space the wheels out, if so how far?

4Wheel Drive & Sport Utility Magazine has a write up on the Full Traction lift in the current issue now on your newsstands. They are very positive. (And no, I don't work for the magazine.)
