Default has anyone had an issue with these
i noticed this as a possible hazard when i lifted and put on the tires. it seems like a flat tire waiting to happen. thinking about trimming it. has anyone else done it. i'm talking about the frame that sticks out towards the tire.......

There's a long thread somewhere on here about the very same thing. If I recall, folks were cutting the offending section off at an angle to mitigate the potential for a puncture.
