My bad, I didn't catch that I mixed those up.

If it is only four, you shouldnt have a problem, but anything over four i would suggest changing both front and rear, or it will be to much stress.

To all the people who spout off about not needing new DS on a Jeep with 4+ inches of lift, you are wasting the OPs time.

2 door or 4 door?
Auto or man?

4 doors with auto will need a front in the very near future, especially if wheeling or disconnecting your sway bar.

You may need a rear but it's 50/50 on that. Depends on pinion angle if you have adj control arms etc.

2 doors will most likely need a rear. Not sure on the front. That's right....I don't know on a 2 door. Maybe someone with real knowledge can chime in.

People, if you don't know the answer don't post. Giving people the wrong info is worse than not replying at all.

For a 2-door, your rear will go bad eventually. So what, replace it when it starts vibrating your ass off. Until then, don't worry about it. Even with a non-OEM drive shaft, my U-joint gave out due to pinion angle or stresses from off-roading. I still get a bit of a vibration with a new U-joint at certain speeds (45km/hr specifically) and I will probably only manage to fix that with new rear upper-control arms.

Until it busts or starts to vibrate, I say drive the shit out of it.
