Twist the assembly until the bulb comes out, then pry the tabs up a bit and the bulb will come off the loop.

Are you going to replace them with Silverstars?

Whatever you do, make sure you do not touch the bulbs with your fingers. Any oils or contaminants could bust the bulb when lit and you'd be out a lot of $$$.

I put Silverstars on my 08, no problem. i didn't remove the plastic grill, I just moved the air box out of the way and the power steering reservoir on passenger side. Driver side just moved the horn out of the way. Plugged the Silverstars right in. Big difference on brightness!

I think I might have to adjust the factory settings alittle, other than that a easy upgrade.

I plan on replacing all my lights with Silverstar's as well... however at $20 bucks a pop, that's $80 bucks I gotta shell out... on just bulbs, lol.

My old Ford Focus had HID lights stock. I miss those beautiful headlights. I'm hoping the Silverstars will look better than the dull yellowish stock bulbs.

they are very bright but don't expect more than 8-12 months of life out of them....the bright white light comes at the cost of filament longevity.
