How do your HID hold up in the stock light housing. Do they cause any problems with the coating in terms warping or cracking.

i know im bumping this from awhile ago, but how easy are these headlight kits to install? the jeep is the first car/suv im trying to do all the work on myself so bare with me here!

Also, if i order one of the kits such as the IPF kit from Northridge, do I need to buy anything else to run them? How often would I be changing bulbs? I dont want to have to pick up new bulbs every few months...

Thanks for any help guys!

My housings are fine. The HID throw out less heat than a halogen bulb. But just enough to melt ice build up on the light housings in the winter. With proper aiming, my Jeep has a fantastic low beam, high beam, cutoff, passes NY State inspection, and passed LEO personal inspection (a few officers). Looks like a stock HID housing.

It only glares at close up distances. Like if I come up behind a car, it glares into the car's back window. But from a distance it doesn't glare and just looks like my headlights are blueish with no light lol.
