ok heres my scenario. i have a DD 2009 jku with the procomp st1 4" lift and 35" tires. it rides ok when the road is flat but when theres any variations or small bumps in the road the ride sucks! the whole car will literally shake and i cant stand it. my question is im thinking about changing out the suspension to the TF 3" lift with flex arms or the OME LT kit from northridge. if i change out the suspension to one of these kits, will my ride improve over the current lift i have?

id go with the TeraFlex kit and arms. should ride great. sounds like you have bump steer, which could be a number of front end issues or lift.

I have the same issue. I have a 2.5 RR lift with 35's and when I go on a bumpy road the hole front seams to bounce around. It seams that the front is not reacting with the road bumps well or something. If you find out what it is let me know. I am getting sick of the shake too.

I read something in a different post that the tires might be unbalanced. I have a dual steering stabilizer so I know its not that. DW I don't think it is that cause it only happens when I hit a bump. No shakes or anything at any speed. It seams that the front tires are bouncing when it its a bump what causes the weird vibration or shake in the front. Or maybe the shocks are not responding fast enough or something like that. I also put a rough country disconnecter's in as well but didn't notice this till i put on my 35's. So maybe the balance is off but or the 35's did something to cause this problem?

Any ideas on what it could be?

Just looked at a different post with the same problem and they fixed it. The track bar was loose. I know that a loose track bar causes the DW but would it cause it to bounce like that when I hit a bump? There is no problem with the driving when there are no bumps at all speeds. I will check my track bar today and let you know if I fixed mine. What PSI should I be running with 35's???? I am running 32PSI right now would that cause the effects I am getting from my jeep? Quess I will air down to 25 psi and see what I get.

definietly NOT death wobble, just some of the problems associated with a really cheap and incomplete kit. with as much height height as you have now, you really need some good adjustable components as well as steering correction in order to dial in your ride for ON PAVEMENT ride comfort and handling.

lots of good info here. i figured the poor ride was due to the lift if have. thats why i was wondering if i switched to a better and more complete lift, if i should expect a better ride

considering that it's basically tall coils and shocks, yeah, i'd have to say it's grossly incomplete and for as much lift as it offers, i think it's almost criminal that they would even sell a kit like this without some kind of warning to let people know as much.

I'd say eyeball your front axle because I think the bend in my D30 is causing me similar heartache.
