You should expect any lift you buy to offer an on-road ride near stock unless you choose poor shocks. It is the manufactures responsibility to offer a kit that works. If your results suck, talk to the manufacturer first . I bet you have something like loose bolts or tire/alignment problems.
I own a 4.5" long arm lift and i drives near stock with 38" tires. I have zero bump steer, don't need to run a steering stablizer and have no death wobble. Propper lifts are out there. My lift had all adjustable arms so I needed to get my measurements right as part of the install.
Oh, going cheap on wheels or tires can also cause the problem.
