Default Help!!

I lifted my Jeep over the last summer and its driven fine, until about 2 weeks ago. I hit a bump and my whole jeep started shaking like crazy back and forth. I pulled over and stopped completely, and then I started back up driving again and it was fine. And now every now and then when I hit a bump just right it does it again. any idea of what is causing it?

Also check the jam nuts if you have adjustable track bar or arms

Just dont go tightening everything until you know how much to tighten everything - meaning the proper ft. lbs. You over tighten and hit a bad pothole or your jeep shakes like you said it does, you run the risk of snapping a bolt or stripping the nut. Im not sure exactly what all the proper ft. lbs. are off the top of my head, but id check first then adjust.

Welcome to the wonderful world of death wobble, as above check your Trac Bar, Tie Rod ends, and ball joints, My last jeep developed the same issue and it was a blown out Tie rod end
