I'm looking at maybe getting a bfg km2 in the 40/12.50/17 only reason is narrow and tall but I have also thought about the mtr again in a 40/13.50/17 but really not sure yet looki g for some reviews on both and maybe some suggestions I don't want an at this point and I want a light tire or I'd look at toyos I'm running d44 trussed and axles and geared its a rubi axle so input please

I run a 39 in bfg krawler on same set up. Was breaking rears shafts until moved to 35spline in the back. Rcvd up front. Are you worried about breaking stuff or just overall performance due to weight?

I'm worried about breaking some but I have rcvs up front and rear shafts I've had in the plans but the performance of the km2 notthe krawler is what I really want to know heard they have a weak side wall but idk really

Where did you see a 40" KM2 12.5" wide? I thought that at that size, it only comes as 14.5" wide.

My mistake I looked at the wrong size they don't make it in that size I got confused in the tire chart

No worries. I dont know how much of a factor this is for you but on Tire Rack for example, the price difference between the two tires mentioned is ~ $240 PER TIRE.

40" tires on a D44 is not a good idea. If you are running RCVs your ring and pinion become the fuse.

That's all relative too tho. My ring and pinion has been a fuse for awhile now and it's gets wheeled. As long as you understand the consequences you can run that way

See I wheel but I know how to let up on the little pedal to I may go 37s but still need to figure out a good tire to pick I like the krawlers but idk and Lot of people local wheel 40s and don't break that's why it's been crossing my mind more
