Default Help On Budget Boost

Since I live in the city and will never go off roading (loser), but I love the look of the lift, I have some questions so I can finally install this kit. its the teraflex B.B with shock extensions and rear links

1--do I need wheel spacers? i'm going to use the 18" stock wheels and stock tires

2-- will I have to install the new rear links, if yes then should I install the on the inside

3--next year i'm ordering some 18x8.5 pro comp 6001 with some 33's I guess then I would need wheel spacers?

Like Rodney King said about the LA Police Department, "beats the hell outta me."

It would help to know what BB you're gonna use. In all likelyhood, you may be ok, but without that info, it's a little tough to answer.

If the backspacing for those wheels is around 4.5 inches or so, then you should NOT need wheel spacers. And im assuming your tires are going to be 12.5 wide.

You will NOT need wheel spacers to just put the lift on and run the stock gear.

You probably wont neeeed to install the new rear link, and yes you can install them on the inside.

WOL has an excellent TF BB writeup you can reference on the project jk site.

I ran my 33's with no lift for a few months. Once the TF 2.5 went on there were no issues. I am pretty sure those wheels you are looking at ar about 4.5" BS and you should be just fine. You dont need the rear links. Even if you went off road you don't need them. I don't have them and have been fine for 20k miles. I may not flex as much as others but I don't notice.

You should be fine. A lot of people have really blown things out of proportion in regards to the links and all that stuff. For a city crusier you will have no problems.
