Default help! cant get enough droop to remove spring.

My brake lines are tight and still can't get enough droop to remove the front spring. What am I doing wrong here? The sway link is disconnected and the bottom of the shock. I can droop it more but the brakes lines are at the limit.

Looks like you need to unbolt it from the frame! It's the silver bracket with one bolt.... 8 or 10mm I believe.

I searched every single thread about installing front spacers before I started. I don't have a spring compressor so I'm doing it per the teraflex directions and the way others have. I don't know what to do about the brake lines to get more droop.

That was the best tip, never mentioned in the instructions or the threads I read gave me plenty of room to get out the spring. Thanks again.

I just recently installed 1" TF spacers to level the Jeep. The springs came out W/out the need to use spring compressors. Aside from what you mentioned already I also:

-unbolted the brake line bracket from the frame.
-unbolted the brake line bracket from the axle, you also have to remove that bracket from the axle
-unhook the ABS line from the hub (2ea)
-remove the breather hose from the differential side.
-If you have a Rubi, be careful as you lower the axle because you may over stretch the locker wire/line at the differential.

Good luck. Keep us updated.

I breezed through the other front spacer, and pretty good on the drivers rear - got stuck for hours on the pass rear...ugg will post about the horrible experience in another thread!
