So this morning it rained again and I decided to test the Dynapro on the wet roads. I wanted to see how they are going to handle before the real foul winter weather sets in.

I purposefully turned traction control OFF so I could more easily enduce wheel spin. I made some right turns at intersections where traditionally I would spin pretty easily in the rain, and applied heavy throttle. I got less wheel spin than I used to get. These tires really hooked up. So then I came upon a red light and there was no one behind me so I floored the brakes.. nothing, no sliding, just a dead stop. A little later I came to another red light going down a slight hill with no one behind me, so I stood on the brakes and tried to slide a tire in the rain... no dice.

These tires stick to the road like glue in the rain. With all the siping, I imagine that they'll be awesome in the snow as well. They are VERY comfortable in the P-metric size. It's amazing how much more plush the ride quality is with these tires. I mean, really noticeable. So far, I'm loving them. Best tire I've used for a DD so far, and I've used a dozen different tires.

I do the same kind of testing with every 1st snowfall in an empty large parking lot...., it kinda refreshes my memory on how the jeep reacts to certain situations..... braking, turning, stopping distance etc in the snow. So in real life if I ever have to react quick to something I'm pretty confident I'll know how my jk will respond.... and gives me a better chance of avoiding something more serious.

BFG AT KO. I don't notice any noise at all from mine.

I think in general, AT tires are going to be fairly quiet. It's the MT tires that are noticeably loud.

This is why I chose the BFG AT's. I read they last longer than most tires.

X2 on the Falkens. I have the Rocky Mountains and they are VERY quiet and great offroad. They aren't the best in mud, but I don't do much mudding! Glad I got them, will get them again. BTW, 12000 miles on them and they look great, no noticeable wear, just eyeballing it, I'd say 5-8 % less then my spare, which has never seen the ground!
