Default Help with EVO protek skid...

Have all the skids installed except I'm having extreme difficulty lining up the last bolt on the exhaust/tranny skid. They all line up except for this one. It's the one on the driver side that bolts into the frame. Don't know if I boogered something up last time at Rausch to make it not want to go back in or what. Any suggestions??

I loosened all the others and put that one in but then one of the others wouldn't line up... Not sure what's going on. I know I have the right skids...

Recently I put these on a friend's jeep and had to barely thread all the bolts, then go back again and start cranking them down. Do you have exhaust spacers installed? Is anything else preventing the skids from sitting flush?

Nope, no exhaust spacers. I guess I'll try loosening them again and try barely treading them like you said. If worse comes to worse I guess I'll take her to an offroad shop and see if they can do anything. Thanks for the suggestion.

I had to put that side on first. This caused the bolt on the other side to not line up entirely at the fuel skid hole. With a small pry bar, I was able to get that side to line up.

I'm also not running a spacer.

I had to ream out a couple holes to make mine fit.
