Default HELP, JCR bumper discontinued

Last year, I painstakingly went through all the darn bumpers on the market, and selected the JCR stubby half-sunk winch bumper with a vertical bar. I liked the way it looked, it seemed very sturdy, and it was made in Michigan.

Only problem was, I couldn't afford it. Plus, I was away for military leave for much of the past year.

So now, here I am, ready to pull the trigger, and guess what? JCR doesn't make that bumper any more. I just got off the phone with them, and they won't even make one for me.

Back to the drawing board.

Is here a similar looking bumper made by anyone else? I really wanted to keep my money in Michigan, but I understand that's probably not possible now. I don't like AEV's bumper. ACE makes great products, but I'm looking for something that looks more like that old half-sunk JCR stubby bumper.

I'm hoping someone here can point me to a manufacturer that has something very similar.

Thanks!

TA

Check out Pronghorn Overland's stubby. Made in USA. Aluminum but stronger than AEV's steel.

Yeah, no offense, but it looks nothing like the JCR bumper, and quite honestly, looks like a POS.

Does anyone know anything about Rampage?

Rampage Products 88509 - Rampage Products Front Stubby Recovery Bumper in Matte Black for 07-14 Jeep® Wrangler & Wrangler Unlimited JK - Quadratec

It's not a half-hidden type, but other than that, it's close, and looks decent.

We have one left. It was sold, but that guy decided to go with our new design instead. You can order it over the phone. Tell Alex or Allen to check with me for the details.
