How about insanity has replaced reason in the modification of this vechicle?

Spray paint the vent covers.. I did mine in bed liner. Sure they were black but now they have texture which holds more pollen, dust and dirt... lots of man points..

Well looks like everyone has covered the basics here. I'm not too worried about whether your like wheeling or not, so soon you'll be asking yourself lift and tires or winch. IMO recovery is one of the most important topics of off-roading. I went with the winch, and all the goodies to go with it. ( snatch strap, winch extension strap, tree hugger, snatch block). Now, its time for the lift..

I would add rock sliders first if you do any sort of trails that have any rocks, especially on a 4 door. Dinged the body pretty good before I got my sliders. And then the oh sh*t handles and recovery gear. Then go do some wheeling and see what you want for tire size, lockers, suspension, bumpers, winch, etc... Many a trip on the stock set up helped me figure out what I wanted then I went with what I liked that I could afford . Just remember with a Jeep its a labor of love and expect Just Empty Every Pocket to ring loud and clear.
