Default Help me decide on a lift...please!

Been talking to WOL about this topic and was curious about other opinions. I'm looking to lift in April/May time frame. With possible Xmas sales going on it has caused me to start shopping for my lift now.

Some back ground...
I have a 08 2dr X. I have 5 18" spyderlocks at the house. I will be picking up a set of rubi D44 in march with 5.13 gears (thanks Colin ). So I am going run 37s. I don't wheel often and more into offroad for hunting purposes and camping. Maybe one day I will get real serious. I also want to run flat fenders (maybe outlaw fenders from evolution).

So with all that said, I am looking for a budget lift with great DD aspects in mind. I may run a coil over system down the road , so something I could add on to. Should I try and keep this thing as low as possible? Being I want to run flat fenders I could go with a 3.5 RK lift. Teraflex makes a in expensive 4" lift (more like 5") that would work and I am leaning that way. AEV's Nth degree looks good but no 4" yet.

Anyone have any pics 3 -4" lifts on 37s....2drs?

Looks, function, price, quality, and upgradeability is what to shoot for. Hope this wasn't to confusiing.

Thanks for the help.

Happy with the Currie lift from Northridge. A bit pricey but functions well I run 37's and the 4inch lift is great for max tire /min lift. still using stock drive shafts with no problems yet. slight trimming of rocker protection

Anyone else?

Thanks TF for the help. I'm leaning more and more to your 4" flex lift

How are the shocks with the TF lifts?

That's a good idea but I'm not a big fan of body lifts.

How is 35s with 5.13s

that sounds very viable for when i get back. i dont plan on going much more than 35's with mine so i could get away with the flatty option. until the wife kills me.

for the rear yes, If you Auto, yes to the front as well.

I ran a fulltraction 3" for 26,000 miles, and was very happy with the ride.

As a matter of fact it rode nicer than my stock 2 door rubicon.
