Driveshafts aint cheap that's for sure.

It depends on your point of view. What does it cost to get towed out in your area if you break down. A buddy just spent 700 and was only 20 miles from home. Thats about the cost of front and rear 1310's from RE.

It also depends on where you are. Out here in the Colrado and Utah are it is rocky and articulation is at a premium. In a swampy part of the country things may be different.

My philosphy is that the best breakdown is the one you prevent in your drieveway. S**t happens that is unpreventable but I do everything I can to prevent as much as I can. After working with buddy for several hours to get him driveable (and save the 700 tow) after he bent his tierod I ordered a HD Rock Krawler tie rod. You know it's hard to drive with 8 inches of tow in!

Well, It's down to I simple 2.5 inch lift or I do it right with a rear drive shaft.

I'm working on a couple of things and just settled a deal for 35s.

Now to get my spyderlocks powdercoated.....
